Editorial Policy

Editorial judgments follow documented evidence and audience fit; commercial relationships cannot purchase rankings or suppress relevant limitations.

Editorial independence

Coverage, comparisons, and recommendations are based on workflow fit, evidence quality, important limitations, audience needs, and the strength of verification. Sponsorship, affiliate relationships, free access, gifts, product briefings, or advertising cannot purchase a listing position, favorable conclusion, higher score, or removal of a relevant limitation.

Commercial teams do not approve editorial conclusions. If a relationship could reasonably affect a reader's interpretation, it should be disclosed near the relevant content. Paid placement, if ever offered, must be visibly separated from independent editorial results.

Sources and claims

We prefer current primary sources: official pricing, product and help documentation, terms, privacy and security materials, status pages, licensing documents, and direct written clarification. Third-party reporting can identify questions but does not replace controlling product or contract evidence.

We separate vendor claims from our conclusions. A certification logo, corpus-size statement, “unlimited” plan, “no training” sentence, or accuracy claim is reported with its scope and date rather than generalized. When official materials conflict, the conflict is disclosed instead of silently selecting the more favorable version.

Rankings and recommendations

“Best” articles route products by task, delivery format, operating model, rights, cost, privacy, and verification burden. We avoid unsupported universal winners. A listed product is not certified as safe, compliant, accurate, or suitable for every reader.

Editorial pages explain who a product is best for and who should avoid it. Important risks remain visible even when a tool is otherwise recommended.

AI-assisted editorial work

AI may assist with source organization, drafting, translation, terminology checks, structured-data preparation, or quality scans. A named reviewer remains responsible for sources, claims, links, localization quality, and final publication. AI output is not accepted as evidence about another product.

English is the source language. Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese versions preserve evidence and limitations while adapting terminology and internal links. Pure, unreviewed machine translation is not treated as approved content.

Corrections and updates

Material factual errors are corrected promptly after verification. A substantive change updates the visible review date and, when useful, the decision guidance. Minor grammar or formatting changes do not imply a new product review.

Readers and vendors may submit evidence, but the editorial team decides whether and how the page changes. Archived or discontinued tools retain a clear status and alternatives when historical context remains useful.

Conflicts, authorship, and enforcement

Contributors must disclose relevant financial, employment, advisory, investment, or close personal relationships. Plagiarism, fabricated testing, invented quotes, undisclosed paid influence, copied reviews, and manipulated evidence are prohibited.

Content that no longer meets the policy can be corrected, downgraded in evidence level, removed from recommendations, archived, or unpublished. See the review methodology for the evidence process and contact page for correction requests.
