What is Fliki?
Fliki is a browser-based AI video and audio production studio operated by Nine Thirty Five LLC. It can start from an idea, script, blog URL, presentation, recording, or existing media; build scenes; create narration; select stock footage; generate images or video clips; add an avatar, captions, music, and branding; translate the result; and export a finished video or audio file. The product emphasizes script-first explainers, training, social content, and localization rather than a traditional timeline editor.
Its breadth is useful because a single project can combine stock and uploaded media with several third-party AI image and video models. It also complicates cost and rights. A two-minute export might use only voice and free stock clips, or it might include a custom avatar, cloned voice, generated music, premium images, and expensive video seconds. “Minutes included” no longer describes the full bill.
From script to finished video
A strong Fliki workflow starts before clicking Submit. Finalize the factual script, pronunciation notes, on-screen text, aspect ratio, audience, and brand rules in the setup phase. Fliki's credit guide says setup is free, while an idea, script, or URL workflow costs 0.5 credit when submitted and a presentation workflow costs 1 credit. Generated voice begins consuming credits when the project is processed and auto-plays.
Standard voice costs 0.5 credits per minute. Multilingual, Ultra, Studio, and cloned voices cost 1 credit per minute. Replaying without changes is free, and editing one scene should regenerate only that scene's speech. Uploaded audio and stock or uploaded visual media cost no generation credits. Generated images vary by model, while generated video is the major cost driver.
The official table lists AI video from about 0.1 to 5 credits per second depending on model and resolution. Stock avatars cost 0.25 per second and custom avatars 0.3, with a two-credit minimum for clips of eight seconds or less. Generated music is 0.25 credits per second. Translation costs 0.5 per run, and each export costs 0.1 credits per finished minute. These rates make sequencing important: approve the script and static images first, then generate expensive motion and lip sync, preview everything, and export last.
Plans and an official pricing inconsistency
On August 9, 2026, the crawlable live plan table showed Free at 3 credits per month, 300 voices, 720p, one-minute exports, and a watermark. Standard showed 2,160 credits per year, 1,000 voices, 1080p, up to 15-minute videos, one clone, and commercial rights. Premium showed 7,200 yearly credits, more than 2,000 voices, up to 40-minute videos, generated clips, avatars, multiple clones and brand kits. Enterprise adds custom credits, API, collaboration, personalized avatars, support, and invoicing.
However, FAQ text on the same official pricing page still says Free includes five minutes monthly, Standard includes 180 minutes, and Premium permits 30-minute files. Another FAQ estimate describes 60–90 minutes of finished Standard video depending on editing. These statements cannot all be current simultaneously. We therefore do not report an inferred conversion or a numeric subscription price: verify the account dashboard and checkout, save the quote, and confirm credits, maximum export, renewal, watermark, commercial license, and model access in writing.
Voice cloning, avatars, and consent
Fliki supports voice cloning from a sample and says a clone can speak across languages. Its product page tells users to clone only a voice they own or have explicit permission to use, requires a consent step, keeps clones private to the account, and allows removal. Paid-plan audio is marketed as royalty-free for commercial use.
Those controls do not replace organizational evidence. Keep a signed scope stating who may create the clone, permitted languages, channels, claims, duration, revocation, and post-termination deletion. Review cross-language pronunciation and meaning with a native speaker. An accurate-sounding voice can still say something the person never approved. Apply equivalent consent to photo avatars, public figures, employees, customers, children, and deceased people.
Commercial rights and the user-content license
Paid plans list commercial rights to created content, and Fliki says its provided stock and premium media is licensed for social commercial use. Users must still own or license scripts and uploads, avoid copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity violations, and follow YouTube, TikTok, music, branded-content, and other destination rules.
The June 2026 terms say users retain rights to their content but grant the company a license to access, use, host, store, cache, modify, reproduce, transmit, display, publish, and distribute it to operate, improve, promote, and provide services and develop new products. That is materially broader than a narrow hosting license. Confidential or client work should not be uploaded until legal and procurement teams accept the clause or obtain different enterprise terms.
Privacy, retention, and production quality
Fliki's privacy policy describes account, device, location, cookie, and usage collection, purpose-based retention, security measures, authorized employee and vendor access, and processing or storage in the United States. YouTube and TikTok API data is retained for at most 30 days before deletion or refresh. The public policy does not give a complete artifact-by-artifact schedule for scripts, media, clones, renders, backups, or model-provider processing.
Request the subprocessor list, DPA, training and improvement rules, voice biometric treatment, deletion behavior, backups, region options, incident commitments, and support-access controls. Keep independent copies because the terms say backups are not guaranteed.
Finally, review every scene. Check names, numbers, pronunciation, captions, translations, stock relevance, generated hands and text, avatar lip sync, music rights, claims, disclosures, safe areas, and final resolution. Fliki can assemble a useful first cut quickly; factual and editorial responsibility stays with the publisher.
Verdict
Fliki is well suited to script-led video and multilingual voice production where stock media, scenes, captions, and light AI visuals are more important than cinematic shot control. Its unusually detailed credit table supports cost modeling, but the conflicting plan copy and broad content license require attention. Pilot with owned material, calculate credits per approved minute, document voice consent, review every output, and confirm the live plan before purchase.
