The distinction between export types is important. A PowerPoint image export places static slide images in a PPT file; it is not the same as editable objects. Editable exports preserve more structure, but missing fonts can change layout. Google Slides does not preserve Beautiful.ai's embedded videos, audio, animations, or transitions, and PDF is static.
Run the real handoff during the trial. Install required fonts, open the deck on a second computer, confirm speaker notes, check chart labels and media, then edit a dense slide in the destination. If the buyer maintains every deck in PowerPoint after export, measure ongoing cleanup rather than judging only the first generated result.

Beautiful.ai pricing currently lists Pro at $12 per month when billed annually. Team is listed at $40 per user per month annually or $50 per user monthly for two to 20 seats. Enterprise pricing is custom. A separate monthly individual option is listed at $45 for ad hoc projects.
The 14-day Pro or Team trial requires a credit card and converts to a paid subscription if it is not cancelled before the trial ends. That is materially different from a permanent free plan. Confirm tax, seat count, renewal, guest rights, and cancellation before onboarding a team.
Compare total cost using the number of creators and the governance work avoided. A higher per-seat price can be rational when brand libraries, locked layouts, versioning, and analytics replace manual review. It is poor value when one person only needs occasional basic slides and will export immediately.
Security, privacy, and AI processing
Beautiful.ai's current security page states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, and PCI-related controls, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, annual penetration testing, and enterprise identity features. The public security policy also says key employees may access presentation data for development, maintenance, support, or issue diagnosis under internal controls.
For generative AI, the security page says business-tier APIs are used, customer data processed by those providers does not train public models, and the providers may retain processed data for a maximum of 30 days for abuse mitigation. It also says content added to the platform is not automatically sent to generative backends merely because it exists in a deck; processing depends on use of an AI feature.
Review the AI terms, privacy policy, subprocessors, DPA, support-access process, deletion, and sharing permissions for the applicable plan. Do not assume that a private workspace link and an AI provider have the same retention behavior.
